This ILT Series course provides comprehensive training for students who already have some existing knowledge of, and support experience with, networked desktop and notebook computers running Windows 2000 Professional or any Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 operating system. This course will prepare students, at an accelerated pace, for the two exams that make up the A+ certification 2009 Edition: CompTIA A+ Essentials and CompTIA A+ Practical Application. Students will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the following tasks on personal computer hardware and operating systems: installation, PC building, system upgrades, repair, system configuration, troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and preventative maintenance.

The Phoenix Metropolitan Area – often referred to as the Valley of the Sun, the Salt River Valley or Metro Phoenix – is a metropolitan area, centered on the city of Phoenix, that includes much of the central part of the U.S. State of Arizona. The United States Census Bureau designates the area as the Phoenix-Mesa-Glendale Metropolitan Statistical Area, defining it as Maricopa and Pinal counties. The population of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area increased by 45.3% from 1990 through 2000, compared to the average United States rate of 15%, helping to make Arizona the second fastest growing state in the nation in the 1990s (the fastest was Nevada).[1] The 2000 Census reported the population of the metropolitan area to be 3,251,876.
