About Glens Falls, NY

The Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties in Upstate New York, anchored by the city of Glens Falls. As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 124,345 (though a July 1, 2007 estimate placed the population at 128,886). Glens Falls is a city in Warren County, New York, United States. It is part of the Glens Falls, New York Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 14,354 at the 2000 census. The name is taken from a large waterfall in the Hudson River, located at the southern border of the city.
