Green Bay is a city in and the county seat of Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The city is located at the head of its namesake Green Bay, a sub-basin of Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the Fox River. It has an elevation of 581 feet (177 m) above sea level and is located 112 miles (180 km) north of Milwaukee. According to the 2006 census estimate, Green Bay has a population of 100,353.[4] The Town of Green Bay is located several miles northeast of the city.
