COURSE OBJECTIVES
In this course, you will be able to install, configure, and administer Windows Server 2016.
You will:
Install, upgrade, and migrate servers and workloads. Configure local storage for Windows server. Implement enterprise storage solutions. Implement storage spaces and Storage Spaces Direct. Install and configure Hyper-V virtual machines. Deploy and manage Windows Server and Hyper-V containers. Configure data deduplication and Windows Server Backup. Implement and manage Failover Clustering. Implement high availability for Hyper-VMs. Implement Network Load Balancing. Deploy and maintain servers and VMs. |
TARGET STUDENT
This course is designed for Network and System Administrators who administer and maintain Windows Server systems that provide various services in an enterprise environment. Individuals should attend if they are Windows administrators who are responsible for administering and maintaining Windows Server systems as their primary job responsibility. In addition, individuals who administer Windows client PCs and wish to upgrade their skills to work with the latest edition of Windows Server will also benefit from this course.
This course is also designed for students who are seeking the MCSA: Windows Server 2016 certification and who want to prepare for Exam 70-740: Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016. |
PRE-REQUISITES
To ensure your success in this course you should have some working knowledge of Windows and basic networking concepts. You should also be comfortable working with Windows PCs in an enterprise environment. Experience in completing administration and security tasks in an enterprise environment is preferred.
