Amazon Web Services, Part 5 of 8: Compute Services - 1:15 hours

Building to run your business starts with compute whether you are building mobile apps or running massive clusters, AWS is the backbone to Amazon’s cloud services and in this course we will start by looking at auto scaling which helps you maintain app availability and helps you dynamically scale your amazon EC2 capacity up or down automatically according to conditions you define. We will then go over elastic load balancer which automatically distributes traffic across multiple targets across Amazon EC2 instances. Next we cover an easy to use service for deploying applications and services called Beanstalk. Finally we cover the newest technology called server less computing which is Lambda which runs your code which doesn't require you to provision or manage servers.

Amazon Web Services, Part 6 of 8: Database - 1:18 hours

AWS offers a wide range of database services to fit your application requirements. These database services are fully managed and can be launched in minutes with just a few clicks. AWS database services include amazon relations database service or RDS with support for many common database engines and also amazon aurora which is a MYSQL and post SQL compatible relational database. Next we cover Amazon DB which is a fast and flexible no SQL database service. we next move on to Elasticache which is an in-memory cache service with support for Memcached and Redis and finally Amazon Redshift a data warehouse service that makes it simple and cost effective to analyze all your petabytes of data.

AWS provides many services that help IT administrators and developers easily manage and monitor their AWS resources. These fully-managed services, can automatically be provisioned, configured, and manage your AWS resources or even your on-premises resources. You can also monitor your infrastructure logs and metrics using real-time dashboards and alarms. These tools can also help you monitor, track, and enforce compliance and security. So In this course we will take a look at all of this as we will look at 3 of the most important management tools - CLoudtrail, cloudwatch and cloudformation.

Amazon Web Services, Part 8 of 8: Migration - 51 minutes

AWS migration services make it easy for your business to migrate your data and virtual machines to the cloud. In this course we review all the migration services. We will start off with reviewing the benefits of the migration hub - a place to track the progress of your application migrations across multiple AWS and partner solutions. We then cover the AWS Application Discovery Service, which helps businesses with hundred to thousands of resources plan their migration projects by gathering information about their on-premises data centers.Next we dive into the AWS Database Migration Service, which, you guessed it, helps you migrate your databases to AWS quickly and securely. The next topic covers the AWS Server Migration Service, an agentless service which makes it easier and faster for you to migrate your thousands of on-premises workloads to AWS. And finally we look at AWS's mobile storage devices Snowball, which are a petabyte-scale data transport solution that uses secure appliances to transfer large amounts of data into and out of the AWS cloud.
